A prototype of Porsche's road and racing cars of the future was unveiled at the Munich auto show.
For all automotive enthusiasts in the field of sports cars, there is news of a prototype made by Porsche that was recently presented at the Munich auto show.
We are talking about the prototype called MissionR, which could also hide the future distinctive features of the electric Cayman.
We all know that Porsche has already had a fully electric car on the list for some time. We are talking about a separate car from the Cayman, which does not currently have a 100% electric version . In fact, currently there are no news and rumors for what could be the Cayman of the future and this fairly small concept could be absolutely an interesting version to take as a starting point for the future.
A car capable of unleashing over 1000 horsepower on the track. Technically, the data are quite eloquent and allow you to compete with this car thanks to 1088 horsepower in qualifying and 680 horsepower in the race. The maximum speed exceeds 300 km per hour and it takes just 2.5 seconds to reach 100 km from a stationary position.
Currently 80 kWh batteries are inserted inside this car that are able to provide exceptional performance for about 30 minutes.
All thanks to an electric motor capable of developing around 435 horsepower in the front axle and a 653 horsepower rear engine. Obviously there is no lack of technology and there are also energy recovery systems through electric columns that recharge the total battery to about 80% in just 15 minutes. Obviously, special 340 kW columns are needed.
This car is intended for so-called customer races, that is races linked to a world apart from the traditional world of road mobility and also the famous races that we all know.
The bodywork is largely made of natural fibers reinforced by plastic, which were made from natural elements.
The steering wheel is minimal and integrates a whole series of digital instruments. Particular attention was also given to the driver who is monitored with a series of biometric supports.
The skeleton of the car is made of carbon in order to have total rigidity and an ultra-low weight. In technical terms we are talking about a car about 4 30 meters long, 1.99 cm wide.
No information has been released regarding prices as we are talking about a niche market that only very few enthusiasts will have the pleasure and luck of being able to manage.
