For lovers of On the Road travel, Renault presents the latest version of the Trafic at the Dusseldorf Motorhome Show.

Those who want to experience an On the Road journey can choose the caravan, but also a camper and for the more transversal even a camperized van.

Technically we are talking about a vehicle that in the vast majority of cases is used in the 9-seater configuration or for the transport of goods. In this case we have a 4 or 5-seater camper version made by Renault based on its Trafic . Via the rear seats to create an ideal means of getting around.

This light van is renamed Space Nomad and has been offered on an experimental basis on the Swiss market for a few months now. It is also on sale in some European markets at the beginning of 2023, including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France and Germany.

The vehicle has different configurations starting from two lengths and the two diesel engines that can be chosen.

In fact, it is possible to choose a power of 110 or 170 horsepower (with manual gearbox) and also two forms of set-up . In fact, there is the variant with four or five seats with single front seats that obviously turn to have an optimal lounge area.

There is clearly the kitchen equipped with two burners, a sink with tap and a 49-liter fridge. The awning also allows you to have an ideal cover to be able to go outdoors, if the weather permits.

The beds can be 4 in total, divided into two areas. The main area is obviously the one linked to the lifting roof with a 2 meter by 120 cm bed. The secondary is represented by a sofa that can be transformed for the eventuality.

Of course, there is also an outdoor shower with a dedicated tank.

These mediums are not to be thought of as cold as they are well insulated and have good lighting.

In terms of driving efficiency, the vehicle has Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility, as well as the 8-inch touch screen system that allows you to have total management of the vehicle at any time.

This vehicle is perfect for all people who want to live outdoors without being totally tied to the camper.

Obviously there are pros and cons in choosing between camper or caravan or camperized van. The latter can be parked in any car park, but it does not have a full bathroom like it does for example a camper or caravan. On the other hand, a camperized van is much more manageable and has a smaller size.

So if we are a young couple who love adventure, looking for the first perfect way to have an adventure life, this could definitely be the optimal solution.

At the moment the information regarding the price list has not been given, but it is assumed that they are equal to those of the competitors, that is slightly more expensive than a normal camperized van.
