News in sight for those who drive a car: some important dates for car management have been moved. Let's see together what has been decided.

The coronavirus is completely revolutionizing the entire Automotive market and also as regards the deadlines of automotive practices. In fact, very often we forget the deadlines and we have to run to avoid heavy penalties.

Given the problem of being able to quickly access public services, in relation to the limitations also to travel and the quota for access to public services, the Draghi government wanted to postpone the terms of the revisions. In particular, the periodic review of motor vehicles has been extended to 31 December of this year.

It is the second time in particular that the Italian government has decided to intervene on this aspect. Already in September 2020, extensions were made for the overhaul of the cars. According to statistical data, in fact, there was a decrease of about 20% of overhauled vehicles.

Let us remember that to carry out a review , we must go to a dedicated center, in order to avoid the penalties provided for by the Highway Code. We also remind you that carrying out the revision of the act is a duty of every motorist as it could incur penalties between 170 and € 680. In the event that we are further caught driving, without having done the revision, the penalties could double.

As for the patente, also in this case there are extensions. As we all know, there is a national state of emergency which was validated until July 31st of this . The extension in question applies to all those who intend to get their driving license for the first time or who have their document expired.

For new drivers, the extension of the pink slip is valid until 29 October.

For those who have to renew their license, it is valid until 29 October 2021.

To renew your license, always remember that you need to bring an identification document and obviously the license. The renewal of the license is a fundamental aspect that must be increasingly at the center of the attention of motorists and must not be taken lightly as it is protection for all those who are on the roads.

We also remind you that driving with an expired license is a truly deleterious aspect and can be punished in the event that we are stopped by the police.
