With a more powerful engine and 500 Newton meter of torque, it offers new technologies as well as having lower fuel consumption. All in a completely new style.

For almost 70 years Toyota has been defining the Off-Road style with the LandCruiser. Within its segment, it is the only one that manages to perfectly combine quality, durability and reliability of the Off-Road, with materials and comfort of a premium sector.

Last week the Land Cruiser update arrived, with a new engine now even more powerful. The displacement is 2.8 liters and adopts Stop and Start technology, as well as all the various Toyota Safety Sense active safety updates and some really interesting stylistic updates.

The engine is the tried and tested 2.8 liter, distributed in 4 cylinders and 16 valves. In terms of power, the 204 horsepower can now be reached between 3000 and 3400 rpm and torque reaches 500 Nm between 1600 and 2800 rpm.

To allow us to travel the roads in a relaxed way, Toyota has inserted a six-speed automatic transmission, which allows to obtain an acceleration time from 0 to 100 in just 9.9 seconds, a decrease of 3 seconds compared to the previous version.

As we have said, Toyota has included Stop and Start technology that allows to reduce the average fuel consumption up to 0.7 liters per 100 km, with an average declared value of 7 liters per 100 km.

In terms of aesthetics, the new optional Black line allows for a front grille and rear moldings in Piano Black, a completely new aspect for the Land Cruiser family. On top of that, we also have black fog light bezels, black rearview mirrors, beltline moldings and always dark taillights. If, on the other hand, we go inside, we find a black center console and a unique lining of the central tunnel. However, the Black Pack is only available in the top-of-the-range 5-door version, while it cannot be ordered for all other trim levels.

Toyota wanted to segment the 2021 version Land Cruiser into four versions. We start from Base N1, then go up to the Active, the Lounge and the Excecutive. In the first three configurations it is possible to have only the three-door version, while for all those who want 5 doors they must necessarily choose the Executive version. If the Base N1 version is purely homologated as a two-seater truck, the Active version also allows passengers to be transported. The Lounge, on the other hand, has been designed for all those who want a full optional car, but want to keep a short wheelbase configuration.

At the price level we are talking about a starting base from € 38.900 for the Base N1 version in case the customer has a trade-in. Toyota also develops the possibility of having a splendid Land Cruiser also thanks to the Pay per Drive Connect financing with a plan starting from € 350 per month and an advance of € 15300. This financing plan allows you to return the car at any time, thanks to the guaranteed future value.

In addition, the Connect formula allows you to choose the kilometers to be covered in a year and to adapt the financial plan over time to the real mileage of the customer, then effectively reshaping them if there are any changes in the level of needs.

Obviously Toyota develops a warranty of up to 10 years or 250,000 km, clearly with routine maintenance at the official Toyota network.
