An important modification to the viability on the SS106 Jonica is reported. Starting from 06:00 on May 5, 2025 and up to 18:00 on 4 July 2025 , the vehicles with a higher weight than 26 tons will not be able to circulate on the bridge located at the crossroads of Taranto. This decision was made due to maintenance work necessary to ensure the safety of road users.

Furthermore, for the entire duration of the works, there will be a road reduction , which could lead to slowdowns and inconveniences for traffic.

It is recommended to all motorists to pay particular attention to transit in this area and to follow the temporary signs that will be installed to direct traffic safely.
