There have been significant changes to traffic on the A8 Milan-Varese due to work in progress near Gallarate. The connection between the A8 and the A26 Trafori branch is currently closed to traffic and will remain so until 05:00 on 14 February 2025. This closure affects vehicles coming from Varese heading towards A26 Genova Voltri and Gravellona Toce.

To ensure safe and easy driving, we recommend following the following road signs.

The alternative entrances and exits recommended are:

• Entrance towards A26 Genova Voltri - Gravellona Toce: use the Sesto Cal.-Vergiate ramps on the A8-A26 Gallarate-Gattico branch.

• Recommended exit coming from Varese: use the Cavaria toll booth.

All motorists are advised to pay maximum attention to signs and follow the instructions provided to avoid congestion and ensure safety during the journey.
