The SS71 Umbro Casentinese Romagnola has been reopened to traffic, but with important limitations. Currently, traffic is permitted only to residents and is in one-way alternating traffic. These restrictions were imposed following the calamitous events that hit the area in May 2023.

The reopening of the road will take effect from 05:30 on January 18, 2024 and will last until 19:30 on January 18, 2025. The section affected by the restrictions extends between Incrocio Saiaccio and Incrocio Sarsina.
