Snow is reported along the SS26 of the Aosta Valley, in particular between kilometre 7,952, after the Rochefort crossroads, and kilometre 9,846, before the Piccolo San Bernardo crossroads and the border with France. This weather condition can make traffic difficult and increase the risk of accidents.

All drivers are advised to pay maximum attention and adopt prudent driving behavior:

  • Reduce speed: Snow can make roads slippery, so it is important to maintain a speed appropriate to the weather conditions.

  • Maintain a safe distance: Increasing the distance from the vehicle in front allows you to have more time to react in the event of sudden braking.

  • Use winter tires: Make sure your vehicle is equipped with tires suitable for snow, to ensure better grip.

  • Pay attention to road signs: Stay up to date on any diversions or road closures due to the bad weather.

It is advisable to continuously monitor weather and road conditions before setting off. Safety is the number one priority.
