There are heavy delays on the A1 Milan-Naples due to an accident near Caianello. There is currently a 4 km tailback between the San Vittore and Caianello toll booths.

To ensure a smoother and safer journey, we recommend:

  • Entering towards Naples: use the Caianello toll booth.

  • Exit coming from Rome: opt for the San Vittore toll booth.

Motorists are advised to stay calm, obey the highway code and pay attention to the signs provided along the motorway. The situation is expected to improve as time goes by, but it is always good practice to avoid setting off without checking traffic conditions.
