Please be advised that, due to work in progress near Gallarate, the A8 Milan-Varese connection is currently closed to traffic. This concerns in particular the A8/A26 Trafori branch, with closure scheduled until 07:00 on 14 December 2024.

The route affected is the one in the direction of A26 Genova Voltri and Gravellona Toce, coming from Varese.

To ensure a safe and smooth journey, the following is recommended:

• Recommended entry towards A26 Genova Voltri - Gravellona Toce:

• Use the Sesto Cal.-Vergiate exit on the A8-A26 Gallarate-Gattico branch.

• Recommended exit for those coming from Varese:

• Exit at Solbiate.
