A major maintenance work is currently underway on the SS640 in the direction of the Porto Empedocle intersection. The work is being carried out on two specific sections: the first is located between 5.927 km before the intersection with Staz. Di S.Cataldo, and the second 1.611 km after the intersection with Racalmuto Est.
