There is work in progress on the SS42 Del Tonale and della Mendola, which will result in a reduction of the carriageway. This work will take place from 20:00 on 8 December until 00:01 on 9 December 2024.

The restriction occurs in the section between:

• Bergamo Crossroads (with SS342 Briantea and SS671 Val Seriana)
• Verdello Crossroads

Traffic will be diverted towards the Treviglio Crossroads (SS11 Padana Superiore).

Motorists are advised to pay attention to the temporary signs present and to expect any slowdowns when driving in this area. For better road safety, it is recommended to maintain a safe distance between vehicles and to respect the defined speed limits.
