On the A8 Milan-Varese, the Sesto Calende-Vergiate entrance will remain closed to traffic until 05:00 on 5 November 2024 due to work in progress. Motorists heading onto motorways are advised to pay particular attention and plan their journeys to avoid possible inconvenience.

The recommended exits are as follows:

  • For the A8 Milan-Varese: use the Besnate entrance.

  • For the A26 Genoa Voltri - Gravellona Toce: use the Castelletto Ticino entrance.
