Starting from 00:00 on 15 November 2024 and until 23:59 on 15 April 2025, on the sections of the SS460 Di Ceresole it is mandatory to have snow chains on board or to fit snow tires. This provision is particularly important to ensure road safety, considering the adverse weather conditions that characterize the winter months.

In particular, the ordinance concerns the stretch from the Rivarolo Canavese - SS565 Di Castellamonte intersection to the Salassa-Valperga Variant intersection.
