Due to work in progress, we would like to inform you of the closure of the A8 Milan-Varese motorway section near Gallarate. The closure concerns the segment that goes from Sesto Calende to Vergiate and the junction with the A8-A26/A8 MI-VA branch. This restriction will be in force until 05:00 on 31 October 2024.

To ensure safe transit and reduce inconvenience, it is recommended to use the following alternative routes:

• Recommended entry towards the Milan-Varese motorway: Gallarate on the A8 Milan-Varese
• Recommended exit for those coming from the A26 Genoa Voltri - Gravellona Toce: Sesto Calende - Vergiate

All motorists are advised to pay attention to signs and plan their journeys taking into account possible delays caused by the works. Road safety is a priority; It is therefore recommended to respect the speed limits and the instructions provided.
