On the A24 Rome-Teramo, there is reportedly fog banks which significantly reduces visibility near Tagliacozzo. Motorists travelling between Vicovaro-Mandela and Tagliacozzo must pay particular attention, as visibility is currently limited to approximately 100 metres.

It is recommended to adopt the following safety measures:

• Reduce speed: maintaining a moderate speed facilitates reactions in case of need.

• Use dipped headlights: turn on the headlights to improve visibility and be noticed by other drivers.

• Maintain a safe distance: increase the distance from the vehicle in front to have more reaction time.

• Avoid sudden manoeuvres: sudden movements can compromise control of the vehicle.
