Starting from May 7, 2024 and until November 30, 2024, a section of the Strada Statale 17 variante Volturara will be closed to traffic for scheduled maintenance work by ANAS. The work involves the structural restoration of the tunnel known as "Passo del Lupo".

The closure affects both directions in the segment between km 4+330 and km 11+100. Motorists are strongly advised to exercise caution and follow alternative route signs to ensure their own safety and that of other road users.
