An important update for motorists travelling on the A8 Milan-Varese motorway: a section of the carriageway is closed due to roadworks near Sesto Calende-Vergiate. The section between Besnate and Sesto Calende-Vergiate will remain closed until 05:00 on October 4, 2024.

To ensure safety and traffic flow, some alternative indications have been activated:

• Recommended entrance towards A26 Genova Voltri - Gravellona Toce: Sesto Calende-Vergiate
• Recommended exit for those coming from the Milan-Varese motorway: Besnate
