Starting at midnight on 16 September 2023, the SS54 Del Friuli will be affected by a traffic ban for vehicles weighing more than 44 tonnes. This restriction has been imposed due to roadworks in progress, which will continue until 23:59 on 10 December 2024.

The restriction concerns the road section from the Tarvisio Crossroads – SS13 Racc Pontebbana to the Passo Del Predil Crossroads/Border with Slovenia. It is important to comply with this order to ensure the safety of all road users and to facilitate the work in progress.

All drivers of heavy goods vehicles are advised to plan alternative routes during the work period, to avoid congestion and possible fines.
