The subsidiary of FCA Bank has decided to expand its charging network in the Piedmontese capital.

We all know how sustainable mobility is fundamentally linked to the concept of recharging places.

Even if the cars currently available in Italy were all electric, an infrastructural network would still need to be created. It is not possible to travel the length and breadth of the boot if there are no charging columns.

Hence, an important chapter of the sustainable mobility revolution must clearly pass through the correct positioning of these charging stations.

A marked improvement has recently been made within the city of Turin. All this goes to Leasys Rent which has installed 200 new places to recharge fully electric and hybrid cars. These columns have a power of up to 22 kW and are available to everyone. Leasys users also have the possibility to park and recharge the car totally free of charge.

To be a Leasys customer, we must obviously have signed a short, medium or long-term rental agreement. The company has also created an App that allows you to easily see where these fast charging stations are within the Piedmont area.

Simply use the card made available in the deed of purchase with the rental formula to discover the closest stations.

By the first months of 2022, these new charging points will therefore also be available to all citizens, including customers of other operators. The decision to progressively develop the recharging points may seem quite hidden but it is certainly a fundamental aspect for the development of sustainable mobility that will have to be expanded as radically as possible over the next few years.

In fact, sustainable mobility can be sustainable in everyday life if and only if the electric charging stations are completely widespread on the Italian territory and easily accessible by anyone who wants to create their own life together with the electric car.

We will see what will happen in the coming days and weeks in other geographical areas of Italy as these electric charging stations must obviously be present not only in the Turin area but also in other areas and especially in the roads of crucial importance such as motorways and state.

The development is in fact at the center of considerable controversy by trade associations which are emphasizing how much there is an emblematic delay in Italy, especially as regards the fast charging stations.

We are therefore awaiting important responses also from the Italian Government to create a global form of development of these fast charging stations.
