The news is really interesting and heralds a full Hybrid LPG version of the Kia SUV.
Perhaps not everyone knows, but one of the largest companies in the world if not the largest for the conversion of LPG vehicles is Italian.
We are talking about BRC, which during its marriage with Kia Italia generated 100,000 LPG vehicles.
Now is the time to prepare LPG fueling for full Hybrid cars. This is truly exceptional news as it is a great sign for sustainable mobility. The first transformations that BRC carried out of the cars of the Kia brand were carried out in the year 1996.
LPG has never known moments of crisis and the price has remained fairly stable over the years. During the fifth generation of the compact SUV of the South Korean house, an LPG version will therefore arrive for the full Hybrid.
Every year a customer who travels LPG saves a lot compared to petrol and diesel. So it is nice to note how the evolution of sustainable electric mobility is adapting and meeting the savings of LPG.
In fact, KIA does not directly produce LPG cars, but materially sends them to BRC where it transforms them. Thanks to this transformation, it is also possible to travel absolutely serene for as many kilometers as you wish.
The role of this Italian company is truly exceptional. The main office is in Piedmont but there are also offices in the province of Brescia in Reggio Emilia. 1300 employees work in these three locations and aim to make LPG as optimal and as sustainable as possible for all endothermic engines.
This company also does not simply produce LPG engines and conversions, but also designs and develops electronic components. In simpler words, it produces and manufactures control units for the car with a quantity that touches one million units per year. Almost half are dedicated to LPG and methane.
We will therefore see in the course of 2022 this new Sportage which should be more attractive to all those who do not want to buy a diesel car, but want to have an SUV equipped with full Hybrid with LPG.
We are talking about the longer term of convenience in traveling outside of electricity produced by own photovoltaic panels.
No information is given about the month of release and the price of these vehicles but they will certainly fit within a price range slightly higher than the simple full Hybrid. The reason is soon said, as this aspect will then allow a considerable amount of money to be saved during the ordinary management phase of the car. This initial surcharge will in fact be repaid during LPG fillings which are decidedly cheaper than petrol by at least 40 or 50%.
And who knows if this decision to ally between KIA and BRC is a forerunner to a whole series of other full Hybrid LPG cars.
