The time has finally come to have the future of electric mobility inside an iconic car like the Renault Megane.

After a lot of rumors, here are finally the technical data of a car that could be the revolution of sustainable mobility for compact cars in France.

We are talking about the new electric Renault Megane capable of achieving a range of up to 470 km thanks to a 60 kWh flat battery.

Technically it will arrive in Italy in March of next year but pre-orders are already open. It is possible to decide to buy this car in four different configurations and in two battery versions. In fact, Renault also wanted to create a more compact version with a 130 horsepower engine and a 40 kWh battery.

In fact, if we are not willing to use a car for long distances, then we can save something in the purchase and have a battery with a range of 300 km.

In technical terms, in the case of choosing a car with a lower battery, it will be possible to recharge it only through an alternating current up to 22 kW, while otherwise the recharge can also be continuous up to 130 kW.

The customizations that Renault allows to the lucky customers who decide to buy this car are remarkable, depending on the version of purchase.

In fact, in the top of the range we have a specific golden finish for the lining of the front part between the bumper and air intakes. The alloy wheels can have dimensions up to 20 inches, or the traditional 18-inch dimensions, more suitable and more manageable.

Aesthetically it presents innovations on the concept of contemplating a Megane. Looking at it from the side, the line of the windows grows progressively towards the rear, creating a decrease in the width of the windows. A stylistic choice that gives dynamism and determination to the car.

Thanks to the platform created ad hoc, for this type of car it is possible to have a truly technological layout . The battery, in fact, thanks to a very small size of just 11 cm in height, allows the car to be managed in a very modern and absolutely revolutionary way.

The dashboard is particular and has an inverted L shape, obviously with the 12-inch driver display inside and a multimedia display up to 12 inches.
