The French brand wanted to look for an ad hoc sub-brand for taxi and rental use and just presented the new Limo car. It is an electric sedan with a range of 450 km.

It is not often that Automotive Brands create sub-brands within their own galaxy. Renault instead wanted to create a Brand exclusively dedicated to the transport of people, in particular for taxis and rental with driver.

The brand name is called Mobilize and now the first car called Limo is presented. We are talking about a 4-door sedan car with a length of 4 m and 67 cm.

The motorization is completely electric and there are no realizations with thermal propulsion.

To have this car, which will be presented at the Monaco show in a few days, you can sign up for a season ticket and there are no other forms of purchase of the car.

To see it on the street we would have to wait a little longer as deliveries will be expected starting from the second half of 2022.

Reanult wanted to ride a market in complete expansion that is that of electric cars and the market of taxis and rental with driver, also in full growth and which should reach as much as 50 billion euros in 2030.

By combining these two factors, namely sustainable mobility and transport of people, Renault therefore wanted to create a brand completely dedicated to this aspect.

The first car will have an autonomy of approximately 450 km according to the WLTP homologation cycle and can only be purchased by individuals who have a passenger transport service within their business. We are therefore talking about taxis, for example, but also rental with driver or other people transport services, for example in the medical or social field.

This car is very sleek and basically follows Renault's stylistic line. Getting on board the car you can perfectly perceive how the interior design will be reduced to a minimum and allows a journey in absolute serenity.

According to the stylistic aspect it is a very elegant and distinctive sedan with a short hood and a sloping roof. The design can be defined as fluid and dynamic and is therefore perfect for allowing a transition towards 100% electric mobility.

However, Renault did not want to miss some details in terms of quality and refinement. In addition to the 17-inch alloy wheels, we also have door handles which are integrated flush with the body and which can be opened fully electrically when the doors are unlocked. The LED light clusters are very tapered and have a sophisticated light signature as well as the direction indicators which are dynamic.

The double central display will then allow all drivers to have a perfect view of the current situation of the car thanks to a 10-inch display and a 12-inch touch screen, positioned in front of the driver and in the center of the dashboard.

The engine will have a power of 150 hp and a torque of 220 Nm immediately available. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is equal to 9.7 seconds and the maximum speed is self-limited to 140 km / h.

The driver can choose between three driving modes, namely Eco, Normal and Sport in order to have a more complex management of the car.

To recharge the car we can of course use AC and DC charging modes, and it is possible with a quick charge to get 240 km in 40 minutes of charging.

Obviously, there is no lack of assisted driving systems and in some cases we could also have the Winter Pack for heating the seats and the steering wheel.

At the moment no further information is provided regarding the car but we will certainly have an optimal information situation in the next autumn-winter as the expected arrival is only for the second half of 2022.
