A new restyling for the Porsche Macan is coming in October with aesthetic changes, but also in terms of engines.
After revamping Macan in 2018, Porsche has now announced a new makeover that will go into operation at 100% in October of this year. In fact, the objective is to support the new generation of fully electric Macan and this car for about 2 years.
Looking at the car externally, we immediately notice how it is more aggressive and characterized. The front fascia now has some elements of the body color.
In the more thrust version, that is, in the GTS version, we have a black color as a large part of the front nose.
The front lighting does not change in shape. The novelty as regards the headlights, is instead the technological variation. It will in fact be featured by Porsche Dynamic Light System technology across the entire range.
Also new is the rear fascia which allows a more aggressive view of the car.
If we decide to buy this car, we would really be spoiled for choice in terms of color. In fact, Porsche offers the possibility to customize the car with specific programs.
The new Porsche Macan will be offered in three versions, namely the basic version, the Macan S version and the Macan GTS version.
The set-ups do not change as much as the engines. All three are combined with a dual-clutch automatic transmission and a Porsche Traction Management all-wheel drive system. Even if we buy the basic version, we will still have 265 km horsepower for a sprint from 0 to 100 in 6 seconds.
In the Macan S version, on the other hand, we have an engine with double Turbo and a 2,900 cubic centimeter V6 structure, capable of delivering 380 horsepower. In this way the shutter speed is just 4.7 seconds.
The Turbo version will no longer be present, but there is still an ultra-sporty GTS version, capable of delivering 440 horsepower and a shutter speed of just 4.3 seconds.
Porsche Macan has also been revised with regard to the suspension part. The software that allows you to manage them has been perfected and now provides an even more ultra-sporty set-up.
Climbing into the car, we immediately notice how the design has changed. The buttons have been replaced with a touch sensitive technology, which allows for a fresher and more innovative look.
The gear lever has also been modified while the analog clock that is present in the upper part of the dashboard is inevitable.
The digital instrumentation is not lacking, both as regards the console and the cockpit. The steering wheel has also been renewed, now in a truly intuitive multifunction version.
No announcements have yet been made regarding prices, but we expect them to be slightly above current prices, although they are absolutely well rewarded for quality as excellent as Porsche.
