Looking at it, it almost looks like a wedge, the windows of which are reduced to a minimum. We are talking about the electrified LF-Z.

Very often the Automotive market always tries to amaze its fans. When designers are given ample space, and are asked to design the machines of the future, very often the final product is something truly extreme. The eastern carmaker Lexus, which is part of the Toyota group, has just presented an extreme version of the cars of tomorrow.

Clearly it is a Concept Car , and we will hardly see it exactly as the images show it, on our roads. We will probably be able to see it in the next Automotive shows when the covid-19 pandemic is over. But it is very difficult that we will see such a car on our streets and in dealerships. In fact, a concept car aims to define the broad margins for the lines of tomorrow. If you look closely, the Concept Cars are always exaggerated and minimal in shapes and lines. This car is no exception.

Lexus wanted to present a few days ago this Concept Car clearly declined to sustainable mobility. Lexus' intent is to accelerate the production of electric vehicles and have only battery electric, plug-in electric hybrids and electric hybrids in a wide range of solutions by 2025. By this date, 2025, around 50% of Lexus sold are expected to be electrified globally. The carmaker also wants to achieve carbon neutrality over the entire life cycle of all its models by 2050. We are considering not only the creation of the cars, but also the production of materials, spare parts, logistics, disposal and recycling.

Many years have passed since 2005, when the RX400h was first introduced. Now Lexus is a world leader in sustainability, just like Toyota.

Therefore, all the know-how information that Lexus has in terms of knowledge of sustainable mobility has been heavily handled. This new Concept therefore lays the foundations for a car that should be produced by 2025.

The platform on which it will be built is a platform dedicated to electric cars. The dynamic performance will be above the average of current cars, and will also have Direct4 all-wheel drive, as well as other Premium features of Lexus of course.

In order to speed up the production process, Lexus plans to concentrate all production within a new Technology Center in Shimoyama , Aichi prefecture in Japan. It will be a team project, which will aim to increase customer satisfaction, and also increase the production speed of a car.

The car in question has a decidedly sculpted line. The positioning of the electric motor in the rear is in fact hidden by an almost minimalist design. Ideally climbing aboard this car, we are greeted by a huge space. The latter is in fact very open and minimalist in the details.

Lexus' philosophy is to create a car that has the man in the center and is as smooth as the interior lines.

We will therefore see if this car will be fully presented to the press in a few years or we will see some changes as we expect in internal and external lines.
