With the new year, the new version of the Kaleos, SUV of interesting dimensions of the French house, is presented. Let's find out the news together.

With the arrival of the new year, a whole host of car manufacturers have developed upgrades to their vehicles. Today we will talk about the # Kaleos , the mid-range SUV car produced since 2008 by the French Renault . We are talking about a really interesting car but which is within a very crowded segment. Among the main competitors we find for example the Ford Kuga, Kia Sportage, Jeep Compass, Opel Antara, Toyota Rav4 and the Volvo XC60. Just by looking at the names, Renault has really worked hard to achieve something international.

The new Kaleos can boast a new brightness characterized by front and rear headlamps equipped with full LED technology . Thanks to an eco-sustainable technology, the lighting performance is also 25% higher than traditional halogen technology, while consumption has been reduced by 10%.

In terms of traction, the integral one is definitely not lacking . The latter was also associated with the downhill speed control which is proposed for the first time on Kaleos. In this way it is possible to brake in a more responsible way and without excessively affecting the brakes, during off-road driving. It is an aspect that may not impress at first, but for those who are used to using the car off-road it is definitely an interesting aspect, as it compensates for a problem of excessive use of the brakes.

The interiors have been renewed starting with the upholstery of the seats. We have a new color, as well as the colors of the interior panels of the doors and the dashboard, in order to have an even more welcoming environment inside the passenger compartment.

An interesting engine is undoubtedly the Blue DCI 190 4x4 Xtronic diesel. This is clearly not the only engine that is placed on this car. We also have a 1.3 tce 160 EDC petrol engine, clearly characterized by the Fap.

Each individual engine is characterized by three levels of fittings ranging from Business, through Executive and arriving at Initiale Paris.

To give a very simple example, if we take a Business set-up we have to spend around € 39,000 to take home the diesel engine version without all-wheel drive, which can become € 40,000 for the xecutive and € 46,000 for the top of the range version.

If, on the other hand, we want to add an engine equipped with all-wheel drive to the vehicle, we have to start from € 41450 for the Business version, up to € 48.950 for the top of the range.

If, on the other hand, we want to grab the petrol version, € 35,450 is enough to enter the Kaleos world with the Business version. Obviously with separate customizations.

Finally , looking at the Kaleos externally, it is very soft and well balanced , with this new game of lights that manage to characterize the front in a nice and interesting way, in the same way that the Clio front is characterized.

An SUV with a nice front and really well done.
