Citroen says the electric Berlingo is perfect for going to meet the daily needs of professionals. It is ideal in fact as it guarantees perfect freedom of action in urban areas subject to access restrictions. The autonomy is interesting and allows you to reach 275 km in the WLTP homologation cycle.

The vehicle was built using the PSA group's e-CMP platform . This platform has been optimized to be used by electric vehicles, also considering the positioning of the battery pack which did not affect the possibility of loading goods and products. Obviously the vehicle is configurable in different possibilities and precisely in four bodywork configurations. The useful volume can reach up to 4.4 cubic meters and a load capacity of up to 800 kg, thanks to the modularity of the Extenso cabin.

Being an electric vehicle, Citroen wanted to pay a lot of attention to the positioning of the batteries which were positioned under the seats and the loading platform of the vehicle. The latter are guaranteed 8 years or 160,000 km, with 70% of the capacity at the end of the contract. To be sure of the correct functioning of the latter, checks are also provided during the life of the vehicle. A check is carried out after one year or 20,000 km and then at the end of each service every two years or after 40,000 km.

The battery pack has a power of 136 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque , which allow it to reach a maximum speed of 130 km per hour . The vehicle is therefore also perfect for use in extra-urban journeys within motorway networks.

The driver can also afford to define the setting of the vehicle in terms of performance. In fact, a Normal choice can be configured, which allows for 180 Nm of torque and is a fair compromise between autonomy and dynamic performance.

If you also want to slightly reduce energy consumption, limiting the performance of the heating and air conditioning system, obviously without completely eliminating them, you can choose the Eco configuration.

If, on the other hand, greater performance is required, if for example the vehicle is fully loaded, there is the Power configuration which allows for 260 Nm of torque and greater power available.

No worries about the excessive value of the charging times. The vehicle can be recharged through home recharging or even through private and public quick recharges thanks to the installation of fast recharging wallboxes from 3.7 to 22 kW. It is also possible to carry out a super fast recharge from a public charging station up to 100 kW with a type 4 cable which is obviously incorporated in the column. In this way the 50 kW battery of the vehicle can be recharged up to 80% in just 30 minutes.

Citroen therefore presents a Mr. vehicle, which will certainly be optimal for all those people who want to go and make deliveries of their products, using electric traction and using the ability to enter restricted traffic areas, thanks to the absence of emissions.
