With the arrival of 2023, the ultra sports version of the new Civic will arrive, equipped with a 2000 cubic cm engine and turbocharger.

The gearbox is 6-speed automatic, and has been optimized thanks to a new system, well done by Honda.

Obviously, to stop this superbolide, super brakes are needed. The company that took care of the braking system is Brembo, which has also included a control for the temperature, as well as a learning control.

Thanks to a new radiator, the “air” context should be optimized, even in difficult conditions, such as track use.

Climbing aboard the car, you immediately notice how the line is very sober, but all in all with a remarkable grit. In fact, compared to the older generation, the interior lines are more sober, but there is no lack of sports car details.

In fact, there is a horizontal grille, which runs from door to door, and conveys a good sportiness.

The external line is however characterized by a large rear spoiler, now inevitable and even iconic. This new spoiler is supported by elegant die-cast aluminum supports.

At the front it is impossible not to notice the large grille, which maximizes the air flow towards the engine. The hood also has an opening, in order to be able to channel as much air and optimize the flow to the front.

On the side, there are obviously side spoilers, positioned behind the front wheels.

As for the color of the car, this new Honda Civic Type-R will have gray, black, blue, red and white colors. A car therefore devoted to sportiness, as can be clearly seen from the sports seats upholstered in suede.

Those wishing to buy this car can also choose configurations for the engine, as well as the steering and suspension. A very interesting gem is the possibility to choose the sound of the engine.

Thanks to the new “Individual Mode”, it is possible to have the car customized according to your wishes. The new Honda Civic will also be able to combine performance data, collected with smartphone application, in order to help riders monitor timing parameters in real time.

For those who love to drive on the track, there will be a stopwatch to record lap times, as well as a 3D graph of the grip circle, to see and view the maximum force that can be developed by the tires.

A clearly niche car, which will intercept a small audience. No pricing information has yet been released, but all in all they will be very similar to those in the past.

The line, looking at the car, with this large nose, will certainly please even people who are not directly interested in extreme sportiness. A new excellent car that has always been synonymous with extreme sportiness within the Honda brand.
